Pets in Peru Need Our Help Too!

This August, Dr. Steele and Michelle embark on an excursion to Peru with World Vets to aid the critters there! They'll offer medical services, including spay/neuter and parasite control, and educate people in Cusco, Peru about pet care.

OSAH is proud to support Stage West Community Theatre in their upcoming play The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Come and watch as Dr. Steele and Linda join a talented cast to bring this classic story to life at the Ocean Shores Lions Club. Showtimes are 7:30pm May 13, 14, 20, & 21 and 2:30pm on May 22. Tickets available here at OSAH, or at the door.

Flag Day is a big deal in Ocean Shores - and boy are we excited to be part of it! Join us at the Flag Day Dog Show, as our staff panel judges the most patriotic costume, best owner/pet lookalikes, and more! Attendance at the event is free to all well-behaved pets and people. Contestants will be asked to pay a $5 entry fee. Funds will support both North Beach PAWS and the City Shelter of Ocean Shores. The show begins at 2pm June 11th in front of the Lions Club.

You're invited to our World Vets Spaghetti Dinner, Slideshow, & Auction event. Come on down to the Eagles Lodge on June 18th for some food, some fun, and to support our World Vets spay/neuter projects. We'll show a slideshow of Dr. Steele and Blue's trip to Ecuador, and tell you about an upcoming trip to Peru! Help us show those less fortunate than ourselves that we care for their pets too! Tickets available at OSAH ($8) or at the door ($10). See you there!

Karoo and I will be doing the 2nd annual 100 Mile Walk in June! Karoo has started a blogspot, so all his pals can keep track of the trip and the pre trip! He is supposed to update the site regularly... let's see if he keeps up with his part of the deal!

We are doing the walk to raise money to help pet rescue groups. The groups we are helping this year are: North Beach PAWS, Spider Rocks, Old Dog Haven and World Vets Organization.

The New Look for Charity!

Linda and I both cut our hair and sent our ponytails to Locks of Love ( www.locksoflove.org ) Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
